Live streaming is a great way to get your message to virtually anyone anywhere in the world. Champion Video can stream your event live using single or multiple cameras. We can even add in your own powerpoint presentations, graphics, commercials, or other multi-media content live, as it is happening.
Live streaming involves a three step process and Champion Video can handle all the steps so you only have to deal with one company for the entire process.
Step 1. Acquire the Footage
Champion Video uses the Newtek Tricaster Live Event Production Switcher that allows us to mix between single or multiple cameras, an external computer or laptop, play commercials, pictures, or logos, and add audio. This is all done live as it happens. Our director coordinates with the camera operators and facilitates the switching so that the best content is seen at all times.
Step 2. Encode the Footage
Before the footage can be sent to the internet, it first has to be encoded. This requires a special set of hardware/software. Champion Video is able to encode our mix from step 1 live and as it is occuring.
Step 3. Deliver to the Internet
To deliver to the internet a special server is required that can handle the load that live streaming places on a server. Champion Video has established relationships with companies that provide robust content delivery networks so that your live video stream can be viewed by virtually any number of simultaneous viewers. Champion Video coordinates and handles all of the details with these companies for you.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where do viewers go if they want to watch a live stream of my event?
The live stream of your event can be set up to play on any internet page. If your company has a website already, we can have your live stream play right on your own website. The load of the video stream does not burden down your page, because the stream itself is merely an embedded link that streams from special designated servers that are designed to be able to handle high loads that can be associated with live streaming to mutiple viewers.
How do we get the live stream onto my own webpage?
Prior to the event, we provide you with the embed codes necessary. You simply copy and paste them into your site. If you are unable to do this we can provide a webpage for you that you can link to from your own site.
What if I don't have my own webpage already?
Champion Video can provide you with a webpage to have your live stream play on.
Can I charge for people to watch my event?
Yes. If you wish to set up your account so that viewers first have to pay to be able to watch it, we can set up a Pay Per View site for you.
What if I also want to have my event available online after the event is over?
In addition to streaming live, we can archive your event for people to view at anytime. Pay Per View options can also be selected for this option.
If I already have some video content that I want put on my website, can Champion Video do this?
As long as you own the rights to the video footage, we can handle all of the details for you.
How much does it cost for live streaming?
Live streaming has variable rates depending on what your needs are. Champion Video can provide you with a custom quote once we know what you are looking to have done. Contact Champion Video today to tell us more about your event.
